Color detection

Camera sorters are used both for food and non-food applications like French fries, shrimps, vegetables, snacks, raw cotton, plastics, extrudates, etc. High-speed cameras (monochromatic as well as true colour RGB) scan products on-belt or off-belt. Detection capabilities are not limited to the visible spectrum, but also take advantage of the infra-red and ultra violet spectra.

Our series of camera sorters can combine colour detection with true Shape Recognition. This multi-tasking set-up results in high detection rates and low false rejection, while implementing a touchscreen user-interface for ease of operation. All camera sorters can be supplied with peripherals and special product handling equipment.

Shape recognition

If there is still a shape difference e.g. stems in green beans, broken almonds, etc., our shape recognition sorter will recognise and reject it immediately.
